An opportunity to learn about the principles, theories, development and implementation of e-Business and e-Commerce strategies. You'll gain a sound strategic and practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges that the new and emerging information and communication technologies offer. You gain an understanding of the critical relationship between different business models and the internet technologies and network architecture that support them. As well as looking at internet-enabled transactions and communications, you learn to manage internal and external business processes, support knowledge creation, and develop and maintain relationships. You investigate internet and distributed systems development, human-computer interaction approaches to web applications design, and patterns for e-business applications. This course appeals to students with a background in science, engineering or technology.
